That is tremendous!!! Look at the joy being spread from just the jesture - not to mention the person in need that will possess this instrument, with even more joy!

Cheers, and don't put my name in the hat!

Currently I don't own a guitar. I had to sell my guitars to cover some unexpected expenses a few months ago. I am very fortunate that one of my generous friends shipped me a nice Yamaha LL6 to use until I get the money to buy another guitar. He also offered to sell me his LL6 if I decide that I want to keep it. No pressure and no time limits.

His generous spirit touched me. I was depressed when I shipped my last guitar out. Two days later his guitar arrived at my door. I plan to buy his LL6 as soon as I have enough money on hand.

Please count me in for the Ibanez. I would love to pay it forward to someone else that is without a guitar and without a friend with an extra guitar to lend them.

Thanks!
Ed

Wow! Absolutely a beautiful gesture. Bless you for sharing your bounty!

Yes, add me to the list, if you would. I could easily find a good home for this guitar.

Best to you!! What a wonderful way to express the joy of giving and sharing the love that is Christmas!

Edward

I wish to confirm this story, if anyone is skeptical. For a guy who is out of work like me at this time, this will be a Christmas blessing. I was left in a decent position however, given 2 months severence package and unemployment as my job was sent overseas. So I hope that this guitar will go to a good and deserving folks, and I wish to say God Bless you Pete for such an act of kindness.

I've enjoyed being part of the AGF. I trust that whoever submits their name knows someone who needs it. I'll put all the names received by Saturday morning into a hat and pick one at random. This way it will get there before Christmas. By the way the guitar is an Ibanez PF5CEMS acoustic electric in very good condition. Just set-up. Pete (PM/email with questions or suggestions)

Awesome idea Pete! I'm well stocked with guitars, but I'm sure there's someone out there that will really benefit from this. I hereby nominate you for guitar sainthood...

I have plenty of guitars to play but must say I am moved but such kindness and thoughtfulness.

I hope whoever gets the guitar appreciates the gift and writes beautiful songs with it.

Best,

Joe

I received PM from another member of the forum who is willing to donate a hard case for the guitar. I only have a gig bag.

I've got a 11 year old nephew that would love to own a guitar but isn't in a position to... Please add Aiden's name to the list.

Great gesture of kindness. Thanks for doing this.
