Welcome to the TGF ptplayer!

Being as special as it is I doubt there is another like. After all, this is the guitar that love built. I think the sides and back will be of <snip - don't speculate and spoil the surprise! All he knows it that it's purple.>. But then, it doesn't matter. It will play and sound like no other. One thing for sure, if you watch the forum for the next few days you will see pictures.

Hey, Rick! Don't feel guilty. Man, you're doing a GREAT thing, and you're a volunteer. I don't want this to inconvenience you in any way. I'd prefer that this be well documented.

One request, though.... You've gotta get a shot of JW posing on his golf cart!

Maybe you could even get JW to re-enact the famous golf cart scene for you! "Ok, JW.... could we have you do the rollover scene one more time? Pleeeeeez???"

The crack (no pun intended) team of TGF lawyers have advised JR to refrain from such suggestions in the future. The TGF does not condone the operation of any golf equipment in any unsafe manner. Furthermore, the TGF lawyers suggest that you wear protection while watching golf on television.

Now, back to our regular programming.

Now don't everyone be hitting the UPS site with JW's tracking number. Might take the server down. Then the guitar would get lost and they'd have to track it and JW might have to go see his cardiologist and then we'd all feel guilty and..and..

Thanks, Meridian.

What an awesome display of brotherhood and generosity! It's refreshing to see that so many people are willing to help someone in need.

JW, I hope your recovery is swift and that your guitar (and the love that built it) helps heal your heart!

DAY TWO:

The little UPS burro is struggling under the bulk of the huge Taylor box...those darn Sponge Bob inlays added a lot of weight...

...sun's coming up over the desert...'nother hot one...

...musta left California back there, this has to be Arizona...Shoot DANG, lookey that big hole in the ground, it's the GRAND CANYON!!! How's she going to git across that?

The patient UPS driver gives her a little smack on the butt and they start down the trail, into the canyon. Good girl, he says. We'll make New Mexico by nightfall mebbee...only 2500 miles to go...
