Dana Bourgeois column in Acoustic Guitar

Dana's "Guitar Guru" column in the current issue of Acoustic Guitar is, I think, refreshingly honest on the question of "value" in high end guitars. Has anyone else read it yet?

I just received the latest issue yesterday and have not had a chance to read it. I'll head right home after work and check it out. I have been enjoying reading Dana's comments in past issues of Acoustic Guitar Magazine.

I like Dana's columns, which are new to the recent format changes. Candidly spoken and good information. I have not seen the latest issue yet.

Most of the rest of the 2014 format / style changes I do not enjoy, however. After subscribing to AG since issue #2, I am ready to drop the magazine, which si the only guitar magazine that I still take. They get about two more issues before I give up.

Summarizing it doesn't do it justice, but if I had to distill it to a line or two, it would be this: "Like beauty . . . value is in the eye of the beholder."
