Taylor Strap Anchors

Can anyone tell me if it would be inadvisable to add and additional starp anchor lug to the head of a Tayolr guitar? I'm a big fan of using the quick release "strap locks" and am unable to do so on the Taylors since that factory anchor lug also incorporates the jack for the pick up.
