Default What's the best gadget you ever bought?

We have two of these. One lives in the garage, the other in the kitchen.

Saves our backs a bit.

I have one of those and it is a back saver. I need a new one though as I just broke mine. Regluing didn’t hold.

I will leave out expensive tech and such and just focus on the spirit of "gadget"

I have this great cell phone holder in my car that is also a wireless charger. I use that constantly.

Similarly I have these cheap USB watch chargers that stick out of my laptop and I can charge my smart watch on.

Power Pins makes a bridge pin puller I *LOVE* - used it last night on a stuck set of pins.

Comfort-wise I bought a "sleepband" which looks like an 80's workout headband but has two very flat speakers in it. I started enjoying quiet background noise or music while sleeping. Can also use as an eyemask if you need the darkness.

Yeah, I think people of a certain age enjoy these. My wife and I are in denial. We only have one of them.

A late model cell phone and minivan come to mind but might send the post in wrong directions.

Leatherman Skeletool is maybe a sleeper and under appreciated item in their lineup. It is light and strong with basics. Weight makes them competitive with smaller pocket-sized tools. The size and locking blade with mixed serrated type blade give it some serious others don't have.

You can get an optional bit driver kit, and there are different versions by color and metallurgy.

I'm not a gadget guy - really only have what I absolutely need.

The first thing that came to my mind was a CD player in '82

Electric radiant floor heat in my basement and condo is pretty great in the winter.

My DC clamp-on ammeter is awesome for running down faults in cars, RV's, boats, motorcycles, etc.
