It depends on what you want set up and what you want to spend. The guys at Dusty Strings do a good job. More expensive is Mike Lull, but he does excellent job and have a plek machine if you want to go that route. Marc at Emerald City is very good do.

If you reside in the northern districts ,a trip to Bellingham may be worthwhile.

Will Bright guitars, luthier and tech is excellent. Not too expensive with good turn around times.

Back in the day, I had guitars set up/repaired by Dusty Strings, Mike Lull and Rick at Running Dog Guitars.

The guy I dealt with at Dusty Strings had an attitude problem. Mike Lull did an excellent set up and Rick did a great job repairing a top crack in a Martin.

Rick used to be few blocks from Dusty Strings, but it’s been a while.

You need to see Gary Wagner down near Seatac. He is very skilled and gets things done very quickly. And I have learned something new and interesting every time I visited him. I'll PM you his specifics.

Also, I agree with K20C. While Dusty Strings is a fantastic store with a great sales staff, the guy I went to in the repair shop had more than a mere attitude problem.
