Any information about this guitar...?
Yesterday I bought an Ozark electro-acoustic jumbo and can't find any information about it on the internet. Most guitars have some presence on the web, but this one seems to be living under the radar.
It's a cut-away with a fitted pre-amp labelled simply 'EQ 7545' It appears to have solid rosewood back and sides with a solid cedar top. It weighs a ton...! There's no serial number, just a sound hole label saying "Ozark 3399" It seems well made and has seen a bit of life, but it plays well and I already like it a lot. Probably a lot more when I change the rusty strings and clean the fretboard...! The previous owner says he bought it around 20 years ago for approximately £150-200 and I didn't pay much for it, but I'm intrigued by it's apparent invisibility on the web...! I emailed them this morning, just waiting for a reply from them. I'm hoping they were the importer when it was bought new. I've seen the brand name in various music shops over the years, never giving them much attention as most instruments have been resonators which has never been of interest to me. If I get a reply, I'll post it on here.
