Comparing Tones
I have been going back and forth all morning on my 00-18 and new L-00 Studio. I have never heard much of the Gibson sound and this model was not on my radar but i can't seem to get enough of it now. Its jangly almost unrefined when're the Martin is more subdued and mature if that makes sense. My Taylor always seemed tight but i could never put that into words until i hear the Gibson which sounds loose in comparison. I am enjoying the hours of comfort from the small bodies and will be able to play much more now.

I have some major GAS for an L-00 Studio!! I've always liked Walnut guitars and combine that with an L-00 body is about too much for me to resist.
