Default NGD Whitehead 28

Picked up from another member here a 28 style 1937 appointments with I would call medium stage 2 relicing.

Adi top and bracing EIR back and sides.

So far so great! The relicing is pretty good and kept up with an 80s HD28 I used to own. This guitar is 2 years old. Sound is big and consistent, great vibration transition through the guitar. The neck is 1 3/4” very full and vintage and plays extremely nice.

I can compare to a Martin VS I had but wider nut width and not the sharp V down the neck. Playing up high still feels great.

Congrats- that’s a beauty!

Is it just me, or does that low E string take a hard turn after the nut to the tuner?

No, it's not just you. Good observation. Looks odd to me, too.
