Single Side Set Source?
I like to laminate sides and since LMI went out of business I've not found a good source for "separate" side sets. Any suggestions?

Thanks. Contacted StewMac today and they don't carry separate side sets.

EBAY
I've used a half-dozen sellers there. [IMG][/IMG] |

I bought some extra thick Walnut veneer from Certainly Wood for that very purpose.

The semantics seem to be strange here, wouldn't a single side be a "single" piece and non laminated?
Anyway, I saw these the other day. Might be what you're looking for. https://edcofinewoods.com/products/b...t-stock-5-4428 |

If you are talking about a continuous side wrapping the entire guitar, I’d recommend a lumberyard. Your nomenclature is not in the normal Lutherie lexicon.

I want to say that Allied Lutherie used to sell side sets and back sets separately, or combined. Quick look at their website does not seem to show that option anymore, but might worth a call to them.

Depending on what you need, Exotic Wood zone also has side sets.
