The perfect sound
Just as I,m guessing most of us are, I am always looking for that perfect sound. So after reading a lot on the forum about Hogs and that Martin sound I thought I should make a run to GC and see what the hub bub is about.
After playing numerous fine guitars, the one that spoke to me was a Taylor 714 (spruce/rosewood). It was screaming at me because that is the pride and joy of my guitars at home. Part of me felt reassured I purchased the perfect guitar for me. The other part of me wondered if after playing that guitar so much for so long. the guitar actually trained my ear and now the 714 sound is what a guitar should be. Who is leading who on this ride? |

Hi mmj...
When I close my eyes and play my main guitar, it's the guitar which still thrills me. Like my wife, I've loved her from the beginning, and grow to love her more each day; there is substance there. |
