Tell me about your (or the) Martin 000-mmv
I'm looking for general information on the guitar. (I know I can look at the specs elsewhere, but I really enjoy how it brings great convos in here)
I played one for the first time yesterday and ----WOW. I felt like the guitar was playing me. I looked down at my hands while strumming a few cowboy chords, and I was literally waiting for the guitar to tell me what to do next. It was such an incredible moment. Are these typically jaw dropping gits? Did I find a fluke? The highs on this guitar were not far off from an organ As always, thanks for any and all input. |

The MMV's are very nice guitars at their price point, dread and 000. To me they are the beginning point of "real" Martins, all wood, no frills but lots of tone, just really nice guitars.
Not quite as complex a sound as their more expensive brethren, but M/T necks can be plenty loud, and they certainly have the Martin family voicing. Worth consideration at that price point for sure............

I played one a while back and really liked it except for the 1 11/16" neck...

Every MMV I've played sports a winning sound, fine playability and super-cool groove. An inexpensive champion.
