NGD - Yamaha FSX3
Nothing special except I really dig it. Saddle height and relief were perfect. Nut was really high, couldn't cleanly barre an 'F'. Bought a set a files and fixed that in about an hour. Intonation is spot on. No problems with the capo.
https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/rney6...=gmyrfshk&dl=0 The bag is pretty chintzy, but it can share the bag/case with my Yamaha NTX3 when it leaves the house, although very snug. Ordered a bone nut and saddle which I may or may not install. It sounds good to my ears as is. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Happy Friday all! |

Welcome! Yeah, that FS3 is a great guitar, I think.
As far as the nut and saddle, if it sounds good to you now, I would leave it alone, but that's just me. Congrats!

I have a FS5 which gets more play time at the minute than my Larrivee OM or Martin 15SM. Such a warm and strong tone.
