Default Guitar slides for kids

Can someone point me to a place where I can find a small diameter slide for my little grand kids? Christmas is calling for a couple of small guitars tuned to G.

Thanks.

Sears - Look for a Craftsman drive socket that has the right diameter. or any brand for that matter.

Default kid slide

If the socket is too heavy, you could try a Schedule 40 (80?) piece of gray plastic pipe. It is heavier than the usual white pipe but is still far lighter than steel. And far cheaper.

The normal slide places. Get a small. They come in various sizes. You probably already know that. Sweetwater has smells I know.

I've never used a slide or shopped for one, but I looked around last night online and noticed they come in a regular size and a "women's" size.

Thanks for all the advice!

Yeah, but they're working on it.

how big are the kids?

I'd measure their fingers to be on the safe side. 'Small' and 'women's' slides are usually around 17mm in diameter, which is waaaay too big for my ring finger...and I'm a small woman, so you know, it should work!

They might be OK, but I'd check....I must have spent hours shopping around for small slides and they're often disappointingly not really that small.

Oops. That would/should be SMALLS. Kids come with their own smells.

My friend Todd 'Doc' Sigmer makes all of my slides. He can make any diameter and length you'd like and has many to choose from.

And... he can make any color you'd like!!! Big plus for a kid!!!
