Thanks everyone! This guitar sounds amazing. I also have a D-35 (that I'll probably sell) and although that sounds wonderful, I much prefer the HD-28V. I can't get over how great it sounds. I couldn't wait to get home from work to spend more time with it. I was initially struck by how dark the rosewood is- Almost a chocolate color. The neck fits perfectly in my hand and I find it much more comfortable and easier to play than my D-35's more modern neck. Now I'm debating on whether or not to put on the ebony bridge pins I have on hand. Hmmm....

The D-28 is probably the most iconic Martin of all time. Congrats.
