I recently bought a Webber OM used. It is a 2016 and was in pristine condition. When I contacted David Webber the builder he gave me the breakdown of what the cost of the guitar would have been new. My savings was 60%. Buying new is a good emotional experience but buying used especially for more seasoned players who know guitars is usually the smart move.

I encourage everyone to buy guitars new. I'll bet between a quarter and half the guitars that are bought new are then dumped on the used market in like new condition for me to buy at a steep discount.

Thanks guys!!

I agree the warranty or lack thereof can be an issue. But the $700 I saved over new would easily cover the cost of a neck reset should it be necessary.
