4 string slide on guitar

I have seen a couple of guys play slide guitar with 4 strings. It does not sound like DGBD or GDGB. Can anyone tell me what it is?

Anyone use 4 string slide with other tunings?

Probably. I tune my 4 string cigar box guitars this way.
