Cole Clark's new offering "Little Lady" - GS Mini equivalent
Stumbled across this, was informed it has 23.5" scale length, all solid body construction and lower bout width of 14". Looks a bit funny at first but warming up to it. The extra surface in the soundboard could mean boost in tone whilst keeping overall size to a minimal.

I'm normally not a fan of small guitars ...
... and this doesn't change my way of thinking. What about this more ornate Redwood top with Rosewood back and sides? Well, I'd try it out but probably not for me.

I'm a big fan of all cole clark guitars, yet I don't own one. Mainly because I'm very happy with all the guitars I have and don't like buying more than I need.
But the projection (volume) I get from the cole clark guitars I've played has always impressed me. |

Ooooh! I'm also a BIG FAN of Cole Clark guitars. My Fat Lady is my most cherished guitar. So I'm very curious about these. Somehow I think it'll be a long while before we see these in North America.
I have to say I'm curious as to why they put in CAPS. "NOT for percussive playing." in the specs All solid timber mini with internally carved top and back. Cole Clark 2 way pickup system Finish: Nitrocellulose (natural satin) Neck: Queensland Maple Top: Australian grown American Redwood Back/Sides: Queensland Maple Inlaid timber rosette Bridge/Fretboard: Indian Rosewood Inlays: Dot Machine Heads: Grover Nut/Saddle: Graph Tech Tusq Strings: Phosphor Bronze 12-53 Nut Width: 45mm Left handed version by order (8-12 weeks) NOT for percussive playing

I have to agree, neither of them look very aesthetically pleasing.
Edit: Here is a nicer looking one found on google.

"Not for percussive playing"
My guess is it is built lightly and they don't want players to think this should be played "Ed Sheeran-style", even though it's a small bodied instrument. It's a look that I could personally ever stomach, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I'd stick with the Taylor GS Mini, especially given that there's a new price drop on the GS Mini line. The standard / hogs are currently retailed below 5 bills. |

The shape reminds me of a scaled down Goodall Standard.

I think the aesthetic look is ok, but honestly. Guitar guys, 300 yards from my house, carry Cole Clark, Tayler, Martin Washburn Yamaha and a few others. Across the board, Cole Clarks have the lowest build quality and poorest sound at every price point. They are competitive with guitars costing 60-70% of their price imo edit but maybe you are in Australia, so the price point is flopped (since Martins and Taylers would have to be imported)

Even mine looks better. Should have put a rosette on it.
