Cool Guild!
Thanks!

This one has a nice story. Bought it on Reverb in a mild winter. The seller was reluctant to ship in cold weather, and long story short, took a roadtrip with his son to hand deliver and make sure it got here safe. (About 250 miles!)Ended up making two new friends, had a small jam, and a few beverages .

I think how lucky Ive been, when I read all the scam threads. I think the good guys still out-number the bad ones!

Wow, people can truly surprise us with such acts! He cared about the guitar (and by extension, you) that much. Pretty incredible.

I've bought used guitars within quite a large region around where I live, and in most cases I find a kindred spirit, a smile, and sometimes a great guitar at the end of the drive. It's such a shame that the used guitar market is trending away from these types of encounters, because you just can't beat them IMO! My local CLs and Marketplace are all but done for, I'm afraid.

Enjoy that guitar!

My custom dread is a very important guitar to me. Nothing will ever sound or play like it.

I actually prefer dreads and jumbos. To me, nothing beats that big body sound.

Right on. We’re on the same page. My #1 for the past few years is my J200.

I just realized not long ago that I have a guitar in pretty much every category…Mini, Parlor, 00, OM, Dreads, Jumbo…Classicals, Resonator…Etc.

The dreads and Jumbo get the most playing time, although I have been playing a lot of resonator here lately.

Bought my first dread in my sixties, which accounts for pain free playing. All mu running fanatics friends' knees are shot too. I have a decade of pain free shoulders left at least. All I play now are dreads.
