Sticky Neck Help

Hi Folks
My 2007 Martin D15 is sounding wonderful, but every time I play there’s this weird sticky feeling on the back of the neck. I used soapy water. I think possibly in the summer I had some duck tape residue on my hand and that’s problem.
Any advice on how to shift it would be greatly appreciated.

First thing I’d try is Naptha. Great for all kinds of guitar cleaning…
