Default Taylor's Service Package

Apologies if this has been asked before but has anyone shipped their Taylor off for a "Revive" service package?
I'm thinking of looking into it for an older Taylor I have.
I realize I could take it to a local luthier but am intrigued by this offering of theirs.

Happy with the service?
How was the turnaround time? (realizing it'll depend on all that's needed...)
Good communication with Taylor?
Wondering if they would install a K&K for me... or is it their ES2 or nothing?

Thanks in advance!

I sent my Grand Symphony in for finish repair.

And they knocked that finish repair out of the park.

while it was there, they addressed two loose braces, installed and regulated a new nut, and replaced the Velcro battery holder with a metal bracket.

It came back to me pristine, and setup precisely where it was when I sent it.

The price quoted for the finish repair was what they charged me in the end.

I took a while round trip and shipping it to them was expensive, but I would not hesitate to do it again with any other Taylor.

I've never mailed in my guitar as I live close enough to drive over and drop it off. All my experiences with Taylor Customer Service and rotator repair have been top notch. I wouldn't hesitate to tell anyone to get their guitar in for service at the factory.

Definitely worth it! TR will usually fix more than you even knew was off! Turnaround is reasonable considering they humidify both case and guitar. That takes about three weeks.

Only then do they work on it. Which is the right way to do it!!!

It will have the optimal neck angle and geometry when you get it back.

Be sure to let them know what kind of action, you desire, and the amount of neck relief.

I have been taking TR my guitars since 1994!

Hope this helps!

Not quite sure about the rotator repair though… Ha ha

Cheers

Paul

Call Taylor to see if they will install a K&K.

Good luck in the process!

Hahahaha...not rotator. Guitar repair or instrument repair is what I meant to write.
