Revoicing on the 710's
I am going to show my ignorance here, but, you all aren't the first to see it
Is the revoicing that I keep reading about in these posts the equivalent of the forward shifting of the bracing in the new "Vintage" series Martins? Or does it involve something else? |

Yes.
And the plate under bridge was reduced in size and shape ,also the lowest diagonal braces wehe reshaped.

Yes to what? the forward shifting of the bracing akin to Martins Vintage series, or "something else"? (Or both?)

Generally speaking, what Taylor did to their dread and jumbo is analagous to Martin's forward-shifted bracing for their vintage or golden era models (I forget which).
Beyond that, however, Taylor worked toward increasing volume and bass without altering their signature tone. In that respect, they followed their own path.

Yes as in the X-Bracing was moved forward as one aspect of the revoicing project.
