Default Bedell "blowout" at zZounds - all solid starting at $329

I thought I would share this, as Bedell is not often discussed here. The ones I have played were excellent with fantastic volume and tone - very similar to Eastman stuff. They have ALL SOLID guitars starting at $329 including a gig bag and a payment plan.

I would get one myself, but the 1 & 11/16 nut width is a deal breaker for me. Thought I would share it - they are a great bargain and pretty nice guitars. Here's a link:

No, I am not affiliated with Zzounds or Bedell.

Happy hunting.

Wow, those are excellent prices. I wonder if any have 1.75 nut width. I might have to get a beater guitar.

Nah, they all appear to be 1 & 11/16ths - otherwise I'd get one myself.

Looking at these deals myself...anyone have one of these? The ones I've played never disappointed...but it's been awhile!

The 11/16th nut feels much more generous than my Yamaha FG700S.

I don't understand, how are they having a blowout in guitars they don't have in stock?

I've got the MBCE 28-G and it's a sweet guitar. Sitka over EIR. Fit and finish are great. Tone is great. Quite loud for an orchestra model. I'm expecting the tone to get even better as its played in. As I said above the nut width seems wider than the Yamaha. String spacing I'd guess. Much more comfortable than my Yamaha dred. I got mine from my LGS about a month ago and got a nice deal with a very nice hard shell case. I recommend it especially at those prices.

Bedell must have had a bunch of them left over when they moved the manufacturing to Oregon.

I actually received the link a couple of days before posting. Perhaps they sold very quickly at about 1/2 price?

Note that most (but not all) of the guitars are all-solid wood.

Naturally, everyone needs to look at specs.

I just pre-ordered a Bedell MB-28-G using the payment plan, so I don't have so much money tied up in case it doesn't come. It'll be my first all-solid wood and first OM, as I'm currently playing a 15 year old cedar topped Seagull S6+. I'll put either a K&K mini or JJB 330 in for playing out.

I have a Bedell BSMCE-18-G that I bought for $299 a few days after this past Christmas. I use it as my back-up when I gig, but find myself playing it quite often around the house. It has great projection and sweet overtones. I like the lower end (satin finish) Bedell offerings, too. I've played quite a few of them and not a single one has disappointed me.

I saw the sale prices and bought the TB18G dred and it should be arriving today. There is a Two Old Hippies store here in Nashville and they have a few Bedells around in addition to there other items. Very nice and for the "blowout" price I decided I couldn't go wrong. Not sure why they were marked down so severely.

I ordered the TB18G as well. Couldn't pass up that price.
