looks like FSX800 series but gold hardware and no graphic on the headstock would make that wrong...this guy was in a gigantic band that had massive international hits for many years....he'd have some ability to get one-offs or special run stuff from Japan so maybe that?

That guitar has the appointments of a Luxury line (L-Series) with the gold tuners, the V at the top of the headstock and that particular pickguard. But I've never seen one with a cutout.
EDIT: Actually, it seems like its a YAMAHA LSX26C (or 36). I didn't know they make cutouts of the L series. Should be pretty nice. 2nd EDIT: here's a link: https://reverb.com/item/4808109-yama...guitar-lsx-36c Last edited by Shishigashira; 10-31-2022 at 05:09 PM. |

The battery box isn't right for ART equipped models. There is master volume dial there. The processing has the sound of the guitar off for me.
Wrong tuners for a 26 (they use open gear vintage style) Not enough bling for a 36 Got me stumped.

It looks like a LL36 or LS36 (pre ARE) based on the abalone trimmings, fretboard inlays, tuner pegs and headstock with options 1C (LL cutaway) or 3C (LS cutaway) and ART System-59 fitted.
