11s are Heaven!
Finally strung a set of Elixir 11s on my Taylor 414ce. No longer have to use both hands to bend a G! Lol. No difference in tone, maybe a little in projection but I'm a happy camper, now.

I use 11s too. Seems they are becoming more and more popular. I spoke with one of the reps of Curt Mangan and he said that 11-52s are without a doubt their most popular strings.

I keep telling myself that while I'm young I need to try and build the hand strength. I play 11s on most of my electrics, but 12s on my acoustics and hollow bodied guitars. Cording and single line stuff isn't a problem, but any kind of lead or vibrato and I'm just not there.

I was an '11's' fan for several years, bought them 10 packs at a time.
They sounded great on my Martin DXM I had back then. Put them on my Martin JDP2 and felt I lost a little something in tone and volume. Some Curt Mangan coated PB strings were listed for a crazy low price on ebay one day so I took a chance and bought some '12's'. Put the CM12's on the JDP and a kit guitar I made and they both kind of 'jumped up' and sounded bigger and better. The CM's were good but I think D'Addario EXP 16's are just slightly better.
