Not necessarily in that order.

But hockey? Hockey is a sport? What is this "hockey" you speak of?
While it's not rugby, it's also not the sort of thing you'd want gridiron or baseball players attempting.

Denny mentioned the price of Harleys here in Canada. I ride a 2010 Ultra Limited. I was at the Harley dealer last week looking at a 2014 model. If memory serves, the sticker price was @ $38,000. Ouch!

So I'm on Martin's website right now and their list price for a D-28 is $3,299. And that would be in USD. What are they actually selling for in retail stores in the US?

My local music store here in Canada lists the D-28 for $3,129 CAD.

To go back a step ... The Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) in the US is generally 25% off the list price. So, $3300 USD MAP would be $2475 USD. Is that anywhere close to $3129 CAD? If so, then I assume that is the MAP for Canada, but maybe including various import etc. additions.

Then, some online shops in the US, and as far as I know maybe some local shops, sell below MAP, but one must ask as the lower price cannot be advertised. That price could be as much as 40% off, or $1980 USD.

Hope my elementary math skills are functioning well.

Reid

Current U.S. MAP appears to be $2499. That translates to $3002.17 Canadian. So it's not exact, but not super crazy either.

...and it looks like the US$ was slightly stronger vs. CAD earlier in the year, so perhaps when the price was set it was even closer.
