Default Yep, I’ve got these mixed up before.

Not the first time I’ve got these two companies mixed up in my head.

Having never bought from Maderas Barber - some lovely wood on their site though - I cannot say whether this is typical. But, I still think the vast majority of red spruce I see is downright ugly. It would be the last species of spruce I’d purchase on that basis alone. A good luthier will make it sound good, but it will still be unattractive!
