Default In praise of the W10

Six months ago I gave my W10 to my husband. It's an incredible guitar - one of the best sounding guitars I've ever heard - but I'm short and dreadnoughts are kind of hard for me to handle.

Anyway, my husband hasn't been well and it turns out he hasn't even taken it out of the case in the last six months. Last night, though, a friend came over and asked to play it. I warned him the strings would probably be dead and it would need tuning, but was I ever wrong! It was in perfect tune, after six months, and the strings sounded like new. Our friend was just blown away by the tone. What a guitar!

Now if I could only get my husband to start playing it, as it deserves.

Thanks for the thumbs up on walnut. Is that a revoiced W10?

Hope your husband starts feeling better.

I played a W10 last month during our visit to the Taylor factory and it absolutely blew me away. If your husband doesn't want it, tell him to throw it away in my direction. Or, I'll be your husband in my next life... I promise... Swear on my pinkie and hope to die... Boil in oil and stew in lye...

I recently played a W-10 in Naples that was AWESOME! What a great sounding guitar. Hope your hubby feels better soon.

BTW... there's two W-10's on e-bay right now.

I should be so lucky! (Fortunately,my husband doesn't mind if I flirt now and then. I save it for special occasions! But my heart belongs to him.)
