Default Martin 000-15 2006 or 2013?? please help me choose

Hi
I am on a 000-15M hunt here in Europe.
I have for the same price a 2006 and a 2013...Cant try them.
i´m always inclined on older guitars..cause they get better with the years..

Any better quality years or which one will you choose??

THANKS VERY MUCH FOR HELPING!

Personally, I'd take the newer one for these reasons:
- With a 2006 you are possibly looking at the pre-"M" specs (rosette decal, sapele, etc) or am I wrong about this?
- From personal experience as well as others' testimony I'd say mahogany shows less change with age than spruce. Plus I just prefer playing-in my own guitars.

All I can say is that I've just bought a new one (actually a 00015 SM) and when I posted the fact on a forum someone commented that mahogany guitars don't "open up" or change much with age. Whether or not this is true is too early for me to say, but it certainly seems to be "settling" nicely. My HD 28 definitely changed a lot as it got older (for the better).
I join you in awaiting the comments of more experienced players.

I would go with the 2013 they redesigned the 15 series in 2011 I believe. The 2006 maybe sapele or mahogany as they built them with both at that time. The 2013 will definitely be made from solid South American mahogany and have a open back tuners. A diamond inlay pattern on the fretboard, a proper rosette around the sound hole, bone nut/saddle and ebony bridge pins. I think the 15 series guitars sound great from the start and wouldn't be concerned buying a newer one over an older one. I have a 2011 D-15M its a wonderful guitar.

Based on the pics of the 2006, it definitely has the old specs from before the redesign. This is a no-brainer to me, I'd take the 2013.
