Default G String Buzz at Saddle

Just changed strings (D'Addario EJ11's) and didn't change anything else. The G string (wound) now buzzes at the saddle on open strings, ONLY if I put a capo on the 2nd fret. No buzz with fretted notes. Remove capo, no buzz. And, this only happens if I pluck the string near or over the sound hole. If I pluck near the end of the fret board or nearer the saddle, no buzz. I pulled the pin and reset the ball end. I even swapped pins. Bridge is fully seated.

any suggestions are appreciated.

Could just be a badly wound string. Try it for a few days to see if it settles in and stops buzzing. Might also need to go to a string with a little more tension, depending how much break angle you have behind the saddle.

As "D string" mentioned (^), it could be a bad string. Try a different string.

Edit: Is this the same brand/gauge you had on before?

Default Buzz

Could it be buzzing between the capo and nut?

OK. first tried another G string. Checked the tuners, No change. Then took all of the strings out of the pegs again and reseated them. Also relaxed the truss rod a 1/4 turn. no more buzz. thanks for your help.
