Sorry to hear this, the Wife and I had the plesure to visit the Cavern many times on or visit to Liverpool in 2003.
It was the new cavern that was opened up about 100 yards away from the original. But was a complete match to the original. That walk down stairs 2 stories to the cavern was cool, and see the stage the Fab Four played. We had good time there. a must do when in Liverpool.
