Default NGD! Yamaha FS700S

My sister-in-law gave me her Yamaha FS700S yesterday. I know it's not the level that most folks brag about here but I'm excited. It's my first "small body" guitar and my first spruce top. My other acoustic is an all mahogany Guild GAD D125.

It does need a setup but I think this is going to be a fun little guitar!

I have a FS720s. Pretty much the same guitar, solid top, the only difference i believe to be the type of wood on the back and sides. It is a good sounding guitar for the money. I have the tobacco burst.

Someone do me a favor and pour me some Jager,
And I'll grab my guitar and play.

Thumbs up

A guitar doesn't have to be expensive to bring you joy. It's yours and that's what matters. Congrats and enjoy in good health!

Hi Red Joker, lots of love here for the Yamahas. Congrats. Was it an unexpected gift?

Thanks everyone! It wasn't exactly unexpected. She commented that she wanted a pop-up canopy for some art shows next year. I traded her the one I had but never used for the guitar that she never used. Everyone wins!
