Thread Goof-up ..... (Please disregard )
Hello. My name is Rick. I'm an *idot*. I seek understanding and support from fellow *idots* like myself.
G'mornin Troops: Man!!! I must have subliminally taken TBondo's sig. advice to "Live Large" .... and, I've obviously applied it my very public screw-ups as well. To the best of my knowledge ( ... ... ) it is/was *NOT* the birthday of this forum and, it is/was *NOT* the birthday of the former Taylor Guitar Forum, as I so boldly announced here. However, yesterday, June 26, **WAS** the 'birthday' of another online forum that I've frequented since August, 1996 .... www.Humvee.net .... Sorry to have wasted your time to check out this thread. Mods, feel free to sweep this one under the cyber-rug or just let it run it's course .... doesn't matter here since I've just 'come clean'. Thanks ..... Rick ..... Your experienced candidate for 'Chairperson / Board of Buffoons and Idots' ..... Last edited by Rick Crider; 06-27-2004 at 04:48 AM. Reason: Emergency Damage Control / Blushing Buffoonitis |

Well, you gotta love the enthusiasm, though.

Hehehe, funny thing was I thought when I read that that the forum's Birthday was August, but your enthusiam and certainty made me question myself. Shows you how alert my cerebral mass was too!
Kudos to you Rick for being able to laugh about it! I got a funny email today that is appropriate here. God grant me the senility to forget the people I never liked anyway, the good fortune to run into the ones I do, and the eyesight to tell the difference. Now that I'm 'older' (but refuse to grow up), here's what I've discovered: I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it. My wild oats have turned into prunes and All Bran. I finally got my head together; now my body is falling apart. Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... Funny, I don't remember being absent minded... All reports are in; life is now officially unfair. If all is not lost, where is it? It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser. Some days you're the dog; some days you're the hydrant. I wish the buck stopped here; I sure could use a few... It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere. The only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees. When I'm finally holding all the cards, why does everyone decide to play chess? It's not hard to meet expenses... they're everywhere. The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth. These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter . I go somewhere to get something and then wonder what I'm here after.
