I have just started playing at age 48, but couldn't help collecting guitars I wanted to play. I did sell one, so that clears me from being a hoarder ( I think.) I actually play all of them, it just depends on my mood. I am blessed to be able to afford guitars much more expensive than these, but not being a professional, and just being a beginner; these suit me wonderfully.

Current count is 16. It continually fluctuates +/- another 10.

Please don't ask how many amps right now.

2 guitars, 1 mandolin and 1 acoustic bass - that's all that will fit under the bed!

GBYork, you must have bunk beds, or one tall pedestal for that acoustic bass!

I have two and looking for a oo to round out the pack. Maybe a SCGC 1929. Also have a nice little Uke. Does that count?

Default Guitars for the non-professionals

I have as many as I want...... and that is a lot. Play most of them. There are a few I would let go of but the market is soft so rather than give them away I keep them until the economy gets better.

and that is my story............

Well . . . I am up to 89 plus 10 basses and 2 guibanjos (or whatever those 6-string banjos are called). All but about 15 of them bought in the last two years. So much for having any living space in my home.

I should probably sell a few so I can raise funds for a lobotomy before I do any more damage.
