Well, I had one for nine years that I recently sold, so now ... zero! That's right. I do have a Fender Jazz Bass and a Mid Mo Mandolin. If it weren't for my buddy lending me his Martin D16GT, I'd be in a world of hurt. Looking for a nice all mahogany guitar right now.

When do we start the therapy sessions??? You must admit that most responders really do have a problem, but I suppose it's a fairly benign obsession!! ... All things are relative!! For me.. I really don't know... probably about 10 or so...

Head over to the UMGF Vintage Guitar Forum and search his threads; tbiii has a wonderful, wonderful collection of vintage Martin and Gibson acoustics.

I have four. Two electric and two acoustic. None of them are particularly great. They all serve a purpose and I don't intend on getting rid of any of them any time soon.

The little travel guitar might get a work over in a few months. I'm thinking nut and saddle.

I am as non- and un-professional as they come! I've got 7 total guitars. That includes an old cheapish electric that hasn't been touched in a decade and my "lawsuit" Takamine that's not really in playing shape anymore due to neck angle issues, so it's really 5 active guitars: Collings OM1, Santa Cruz D12, Gibson AJ, Eastman E10D, and Recording King ROS-06.

I'm able to play all of those just enough that I don't feel too guilty about it, and I'm hoping eventually to add a handful more (a rosewood dread, a J-45 style short-scale slope, and a nicer 000 or 00, possibly all-mahogany). I could also imagine some day dropping down to 2 or 3 that I really, really love, but having been corrupted by the good folks here, I would have a hard time going back to just one.
