Default #2 Reaches the Finish Line

Here is my second guitar.

Classical - 650mm scale
1973 Romanillos bracing and body plan
EIR / German Spruce
Australian Lacewood Binding
Mahogany V-Joint Neck
Ebony Fingerboard
Cocobolo 18 hole Bridge

I had many problems with this guitar - all my fault! Had to remake the neck twice, so this is the third V-joint(Practice makes perfect!). I had to chisel out two rosettes - too many gaps(More practice...). I had to remove the back and replace the back braces - a bigger job than I thought it would be, but it worked. There's more, but these are the big things.

The guitar sounds great, better than my first. Bigger bass, but, still, has the complex highs that I like in a classical guitar. I should have a sound clip in a few days. I'll post it as soon as I can.

Thanks for looking.

Beautiful - and kudos for your perseverance! The results show off just magnificently - rosette and peghead detail are very nice indeed. Congratulations!

Ditto! Fantastic headplate! I love the rosette, too.

Thanks to you all!

It sounds great to me, and tomorrow afternoon, the person who did the clip for #1 is going to do a clip for this one. I may get him to do a short A/B between the two of them too, if he will. I'm looking forward to it.
