Today, the heavens parted and I found my guitar. I have been lurking around in here reading reviews and getting opinions on guitars. So, I went to Dave's guitar shop. Here in Wisconsin, Dave has a few stores and carries many brands. Gibson, Martin, Taylor, etc. So, I spent about two hours trying many guitars, sizes, brands, with and without electronics.

I chose the J-45. After trying of all of them, I fell in love with it's tone and feel. Just feels right in my hands. I have rehearsal tomorrow and a gig next week and I can't wait. My wife sang few songs from our setlist acoustically tonight. The guitar sounded amazing.

Oh happy day!

Congrats. Gibson is really putting out some good guitars right now. My new J-45 is a killer guitar.

J-45 is a great guitar, Gibson's best IMO. And nobody goes sunburst like Gibson. Congrats!

Great that you were able to pick out the one for you. So many guitar shops only have one or two Gibson acoustics in stock. Congrats!

Congrats to you. Beautiful piece. I like to think I don’t have much GAS, but I could make an exception for a J 45 like that one
