Unique alternate tunings
Is it possible to explore new ground in alternate tunings innovatively by promoting neck warp by overhumidification; switching string gauges among sets; cross-stringing (stringing the B string, for example, in the low E slot); playing at very low and high ambient temperatures, stringheating and freezing, neckleaning, intentional guitar damage techniques, wild humidification swings such as those promoted by the Dampits and PW soakers, fret-leveling abuse, and random mistuning? Is this new ground or has someone explored these areas before? Do you recommend Polys or Nanos for this approach?

You really ought to try playing under water. Muddy water sounds different than clear water. And soft water is not the same as hard water. I get a really great waterfall effect with my arpeggios.

I've always wondered what a guitar would sound like in a vacuum.
seriously - I think the ability to be retuned so easily is one of the strengths of the guitar.
