Default Question about custom bindings?

Ok, only those with taste need answer

What kind of binding do you guys like on a cedar/EIRosewood guitar?...I'm struggling with this decision...I really like the look of rosewood bindings, like on a taylor 714ce...but something a bit more custom maybe?...i can't think of anything that would look cool on this wood combination....the usual suspects, koa, maple, might not look so good with that dark top?...

whaddya think?

Bubinga - This is sitka (sorry no cedar) on EIR with bubinga bindings.

More bubinga on EIR. I think bubinga looks great with EIR.

You might consider bloodwood. For dark woods, I prefer a bit of contrast so I find this wood attractive against rosewood and it should compliment the cedar quite well also. In the picture below, the binding appears a bit brighter than it really was.

Sycamore, Spalted Maple, Lacewood or EIR with a single maple purfling line to separate it.

I like to look each individual piece of binding over before making a comment, but off the top of my head?

My choice would, maybe, be:

#1) Bloodwood

#2) Rosewood

Not that "I" have taste :P

Mine is coming soon in those woods with Cocobolo binding. I'll post pics at that time.
