Kerry is more than an acoustic guitar tech. He is a world-class restoration expert as well as a superb (if relatively unknown) luthier.

Thanks, Eric. Good to know. I've chatted with him before and he seems friendly and enthusiastic.

I don't know the guy's name, but I've heard the tech that Uptown Music, in Salem, uses is regarded as one of the best, if not the best, in our region. He's usually backed up at least 3-4 weeks, sometimes 6-8, though. I'm about to go through Uptown to have him re-fret my Taylor GS.

Mike and Todd have worked on six of the guitars listed below in the past year and a half or so. Nothing major, just some setup work, a few new fully compensated saddles, minor fret dressing, etc. Excellent and timely work.

Uptown Music Guy
The guy Taylorman22 is referring to is Steve Bond. He is not the main guy for Uptown Music because he has so much work. I've taken several guitars to him. He's A+. Obviously make sure he knows what your goals are.
I believe his business is called Sonrise Woodart.
