Well, it just so happens that I added a David Webber Roundbody guitar to the herd. Picked it up a few hours ago and have been playing it since..... am not about to run out and sell the rest but if I had to pick one to keep it might be the Webber. It's that nice.

I picked this beauty up in ‘84 for $500. It’s the best $500 I’ve ever spent on any guitar. My ‘80 Gibson Jimmy Wallace’58 Prototype Standard.

No such thing -I would sell any of them to get something I considered 'better' or something that I needed to fill a particular purpose. I just can't understand getting emotionally attached to any inanimate object.

Easy…my 2003 Merrill C-28 in Adi / Honduran RW
Wide open sound, deep mature bass, just an awesome instrument that every time I play it makes me wonder why I bother with all the other buying and selling. But hey, I don’t have many hobbies, and this is fun

My Blueridge BR-40. I got it for a steal, play it more than any other guitar, and couldn't make much on a sale if I tried.

I have two guitars I will never sell. I'm partial to maple, when done right anyway (there are so many bad maple guitars out there) and I have two of the best. In fact, I like both of these so much I sold off my third acoustic.
#1) '76 Guild F-50 (maple). I have played at least a thousand different models of guitars in my life, and maybe three might sound as good. All three were much more expensive hand-built guitars as well, and I'd have to play them in the same room side by side to be sure. '75 Guild G-37. My dad gave me this as a "beater" when I said I was considering an Epiphone Frontier masterbuilt for the same reason. It's way too nice to use as a beater. There is some signs of play in the fretboard, otherwise I'd think it was a closet guitar. He had some really thick coated strings on it that will kill the sound of a guitar, but as soon as I got them off I was really amazed how much I like this guitar too.

I may not have bought it yet but my 000-16 is highly rated to stay a good while.

I thought about this question for 2 days now and I really could not narrow it down to one guitar. I just can't do it.

My Guild D40c, built in 1979. I bought it after I cleared all of my debts from college. We have grown old together.
