Default easy question...

What does Collings mean by "modified v-neck"?
How does it feel/play different from other neck shapes ?
Thanks for your consultation!

Default Modified V s

Most manufacturers who offer a variety of neck profiles will have place on their web site showing a cross section of the necks.

Having said that, there's no real standardization from one maker to the next, so the feel varies.

I've always been an advocate of playing any instrument you're seriously considering so you can feel and hear how it sounds.

pretty much what bernie says !

they have to use the word modified as a general term -
for some reason most references to v necks heads back to Martins description of them - so they say this so you dont asume its exactly like Martins . I dont believe Martin was the originator of the v neck ( many used them ) but because their a survivor of that era -most references are to them .
