YouTube causes GAS....I'm now gassing for a Kopp K-35
Grrrrrrrrrrrr, right now isn't the time financially but gosh, I accidentally stumbled upon Kevin Kopp's K-35...his version of Gibson's old J45's....
Uhhhhhh, my word it sounds like butter. This was not a good video to click on........dang it.

Yeah...I did the same thing about ten years ago. Wasn't long before I ended up with one of Kevin's K-35's. The K-35 is a thing of beauty and joy for me. It's a lifetime keeper. I hope you'll get your hands on one cause they truly are amazing guitars. Here's Guthrie Trapp, a Nashville monster player, putting a K-35 through it's paces at Cater's Vintage...

^^^ I’ve drooled over that video for years.
I had a Kopp 35..the one in my avatar. And that’s the one that got away. I love my Collings CJ-35, but that Kopp was special. Get you one! |

I thought the K-35 was based on the J-35 like the Collings CJ35, which I used to own? Not to split hairs, but the J-45 and J-35 are pretty different tone wise, which I think is due to the straight bracing (?). Regardless the video is making me drool. Sweet tone!

Play a K35 or one of Kevin's AJ's, and the GAS will be exponentially worse than that which is induced by watching videos. He is an amazingly talented luthier, and his guitars are as good as it gets.
