Default String tension/saddle height question

Having a Taylor, I am able to adjust my string action without changing my saddle height, so...

I finally got around to getting some shims for my GS8, and made a new saddle, changing the saddle height back to where it should have been. All things equal, does a higher saddle (greater string break angle) increase the string tension?

I'm talking about the feel of the strings, as well as the actual string pull...

String tension is a function of scale length, string mass and the pitch to which the string is tuned. The break angle has no effect on string tension.
