Default Mark Knopfler

I stumbled across this youtube piece wherein Mark Knopfler talks about his playing, and shows it. If you've got 6 and a half minutes, it's a nice way to spend it.

Yes, to me, too. Watching him play is like watching a super-coordinated baseball player at shortstop. The guy is so musical! I love everything he does.

I like his final words "you have to really want to learn to play" - priceless.

OK VTexan, you get a pass this time cuz you are new, but many here gave their all during the bitter struggle that was the "Video Embedding War".

Lest we forget :

Default This ol' dog

...can learn new tricks. But sometimes he's gotta be shown them. Is that what the INSERT LINK pull-down is below the smiley face thingie on the reply-to-thread menu? I'll try that next time.

Hi V. Y'all want the little red box with the white arrow in it , second from top right .
That will give you these tags: [ YOUTUBE] [ /YOUTUBE]

Then you paste the last bit of the 'tube address (which is everything after the = sign) in between them, that's this part : i_7feGF9TA8

So you've got : [ YOUTUBE] i_7feGF9TA8 [ /YOUTUBE] (I have added some spaces to prevent it working and make it visible).

Whole lot can then also be centred if desired, Hope this is helpful.

Thanks VTexan, great to see this legend show 'how easy' it is

And thanks Long Jon, for your elucidating comment. Finally I know now howtotoo!

Just for the sake of trying my luck (as a post is should be somewhere else on AGF)... In this recent home recording I try a Stills' picking while accompanying my friend Inge doing all the vocals:
