Wow! I love that feeling when you hear something magical the first time. I know I'll be hearing this in my head for the next week. Great thread BTW.

In no particular order, and sticking to those I have seen myself in the last year or so: Pierre Bensusan, Don Ross, Thomas Leeb, Jon Gomm, Preston Reed, Andy McKee, Martin Simpson and don't discount her just as a singer: Janis Ian.

I agree on Rbin Bullock and Steve Baughman.

A little off topic but I saw Steely Dan a week ago and their lead player almost stoe the show. Sorry I don't know his name.

I think someone's already mentioned his name, but Doyle Dykes is absolutely amazing live. I've seen him twice and the things and sounds he can make come out of a guitar are insane. Great guy, too! Very nice and willing to share his knowledge.

I missed Tommy E and James Taylor this year due to work and vacation, not that I'm bitter. Seeing Andy McKee in a few weeks.

+1 on that. If you do a Facebook like to Bresh, he plays at a lot of small venues, for the most part within 1-2 days drive of Nashville. He seems to show up at a lot of stuff. The biggie would be the CAAS gathering every year. I'd love to meet the guy... He makes me smile.

Rick

Not sure if he's touring but I'm surprised no one has mentioned Phil Keaggy.
