I have a 92 Takamine EF341C that I got in 93. Fast forward to 2012, bought a Martin and started hanging out here and got serious about going acoustic with the band. The takamine is a workhorse. Stays in tune, and the preamp is great. I'd love to have one of their rosewood 12 strings. Mine is now my campfire guitar. My Martins are now the gig guitars, but before that the Takamine did the job.

http://acousticmusic.org/product/keystone/ I must have nearly 20 vintage FG's, this is the best sounding model I've found so far. The FG-300 & FG-350W are good too, but I got tired of the booming bass. I wanted a more balanced sound that the 000 size gives. I've tried (2) FG-110-1's and they aren't anywhere as good as the original. |
