Default NGD - Guild F-130ce

I held out almost all month... watching the Sweetwater Guild Deals come and go. Lot's of great deals on close-out GAD models. So this past week I came into a few bucks (thanks to CL sale of some stage gear I no longer use) and found myself looking at the site throughout the day on Wednesday. Just to see if anything popped up.

Late in the day on Wednesday a F-130ce came up for $498 with hard case and free ship. Just 1 available and from photos it looked very nice. So I snagged it!

Even though it's Saturday ... FedEx shows out for delivery. Of course I've been listening for the truck all day. But it's 3pm and I am leaving for a rehearsal session............. So now I have my 14 yr old son camped out in the front room with instructions to "listen for the Fedex guy" .. plus to text me when it arrives.

Here's one of the shots Sweetwater sent me.

Hopefully I will have some of my own pictures to share later tonight!

It arrived!

Double boxed and in perfect condition.

I only had a chance to inspect and strum it for a few minutes. It sounded awesome! Bold and crisp sounding is the only words so far... since it was late when I got home and did not really have much a chance to play.

Love that I have a nice long Sunday to check her out!

You'll love it. Mine arrived last week and I've already had it in to my tech for a setup. Looks beautiful and plays like butter. Still hard for me to believe I got a guitar of this quality at that price point.

"It's meant to be played " and as you play it, I'm sure you'll see how well it's made and how it sounds. Don't forget a setup.

Don't forget to post a couple songs with you playing it. What I listened to on youtube with this model sounded pretty good to me.

So beautiful. I'll be posting NGD pics of my F130Rce when it gets back from its setup.

"It's Made to be Played" .... Guild's are awesome, including the GADs.

No doubt!

I was a little skeptical on this purchase... although for the price I knew I couldn't go wrong. What I mean skeptical is ... I didn't need or want a cheap sounding or playing guitar (if that makes sense). I did not see a ton of reviews on this model.

I will say from my couple hours of playing this one.... it is a sweet guitar with an excellent tone and sounds killer through my PA rig (QSC K10 powered speaker and Yamaha board).

The fit and finish is top notch and has a nice weight and balance.
