Tried Martin Retro today.
I've had this Martin DRS 1 little over a year. I have tried a few different stings on it. All of them we ok but nothing that amazed me. Today I put a set of Martin Retro custom lights on the guitar. Now this is a nice tone. Really clear and loud. Now lets see how they hold up.

I first tried them in July last year after reading all the positive comments here on the AGF.
That set is still on the same guitar and still sounding great.

I've got them on a Martin mmv. I didn't like them at first but as soon as some of the bright chimeyness of new strings wore off, I'm liking them more. I usually use elixirs.

I've got some Martin Retros on a 314 that are holding-up fine and sound great. As memory serves, they were installed in early February of this year.

After about 3 or 4 days of playing they really sound cool.
