Default Martin 000 17

I had a question I tried a 000 17 at Marshall's last night and it played great, does any one know if it has regular A frame bracing or does it have hybrid? I did check Martin's website and it it didn't say.

Traditional bracing.........identical to the 000-18 except the 17 has 5/16" bracing and the 18 is 1/4" bracing.

It depends....

The modern 17 Series used A-Frame bracing until the 2016 models came out. The new 17 Series guitars use the Simple Dovetail neck joint and traditional bracing.

Thanks. I wonder if Martin start doing that on more of their guitars. That 000 17 was really nice that I played last night. I think that it could be a big seller for them.

Thanks Todd.

I think my 000-17SM carries the A-Frame (not sure).
